Traveler Friendly From Anywhere in the World
We Blew Inn is nestled in Franklin, NC., a popular vacation destination and outdoor enthusiasts town, both for its convenient access to well travelled destinations in Western North Carolina, but also its proximity to the Appalachian Trail and the white rafting rivers. Those who plan to go tubing or rafting will find dozens of local and guided tour guides within a short drive.
We cater to mountaineers, Appalachian Trail hikers and White Water paddlers during the through-hiking and white water season (April-October), and we are a perfect stop roughly 100 miles from Springer Mountain and right off the Bartram Trail at Wallace Branch trailhead. If you are heading North on the AT, We Blew Inn is a great stop or exit point about 1 week in, and we can provide all of the comforts of a small mountain town, with perks such as Three Eagles Outfitters, the well equipped outfitter shop, as well as good eats like BBQ, Mexican, French, Italian, and Asian cuisines. Franklin is also a PO Drop Point for hikers going both ways, and hikers may use the We Blew Inn as their PO drop point.
